Our Daily Schedule
9:00 - 9:30 am | Drop off window
Drop-off window and gathering in our outdoor space
9:30 - 9:45 am
Circle time, which includes singing, the daily calendar, weather observations, story time, music, and structured learning activities
9:45 - 11:30 am
Exploration in our outdoor space or woodland adventures in the adjacent forest
11:30 - 12:00 pm
Lunch time
12:00 - 12:30 pm | Half day pick up window
12:30 - 1:00 pm
Full day friends transition indoors and play until nap/resting time
1:00 - 2:30 pm
Nap time. Children may nap/rest until 2:30pm. As children wake up from their naps they have quiet table activities until the whole group is awake
2:30 - 3:30 pm
Indoor structured learning activities followed by transitioning outdoors for play and pick up
3:30 - 4:00 pm | Full day pick up window

We believe in mixed-age learning, where older children take on mentoring roles and younger children thrive through observation and imitation. The Woodland Preschool consists of one mixed-age class, and we aim for balanced enrollment across our three age groups: Hedgehogs, Squirrels, and Foxes.

Curriculum
We blend academic foundations with social-emotional learning to support the whole child. Children explore math, science, language, and the arts through hands-on, play-based activities that encourage curiosity and growth.

Each week features themes explored through stories, crafts, and group learning. Activities include sensory play, gardening, arts, crafts and outdoor play. Our program is designed to ensure your child will be ready for kindergarten– we will help them build the skills and confidence needed for a smooth transition.
